Equip our Educators
Our teachers are superheroes, and it's our mission to build a strong, supportive community around them.
In 2024 and 2025, Chico Striders proudly hosted its first annual back to school fundraiser to support our dedicated teachers. Each year, our teachers spend their own money to meet the needs of their classrooms. We partnered with InterWest Insurance, which generously matched donations from their staff. We were also grateful for the support from Bean Counting Firm and Upper Crust Bakery. Together, we raised over $7,000 in supplies, directly benefiting over 40 teachers and several local elementary and middle schools.
